Key Clamps are used in conjunction with galvanised steel tubing. The Key Clamps are secured to the tube by means of hexagon socket set screws, which are tightened using an allen key or ratchet spanner to establish a firm lock between the clamp and the tube. The sharpened edges of the socket set screws effectively 'bite’ into the surface of the tube creating a solid connection.

All fittings are done singly and therefore the finish does vary, and is by no means uniform. Fittings will be slightly greasy when delivered, so if further painting or clear coating is required, please de-grease beforehand to ensure adhesion. This is an irreversible chemical change to the galvanised coating, and does effect the corrosion resistance, for this reason we cannot guarantee their continued usability in outdoor environments.
